Hi I'm Hannah, an anaesthetics registrar who's passionate about critical care. As a co-founder of PVACCS, I'm committed to making high-quality education accessible to all. I'm excited to continue to grow PVACCS this year and beyond. Outside of work, I love baking, reading, and being outdoors.

Dr Rachel Xu (Co-Chair)
Hi, I'm a junior doctor interested in anaesthetics. I hope we can help increase exposure to critical care content that we often don't get a lot of in medical school! Outside medical school, I like playing team sports and drawing.

Dr Areeb Athar (Education Officer)
Hi, I'm a junior doctor at Alfred Health with a keen interest in critical care, particularly anaesthetics and perioperative medicine. I'm excited to support PVACCS educate and support like-minded medical students and junior doctors embarking on their journey to a critical care career. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, photography, and watching fast cars.

Dr Cathy Hua (Education Officer)
Hi! I’m Cathy, an intern working at St Vincent’s. I have a passion for critical care, in particular Anaesthetics. I love the combination of physiology and pharmacology, combined with hands-on procedural skills. Outside of medicine, I like to travel, spend time with family and my dog Halo and run. I’m excited for the educational content we can produce as a team for PVACCS this year!

My name is Karim and I am a final year medical student at Monash University. I am a Canadian that moved to Melbourne to pursue medical school. Outside of my interest in anesthesia and critical care, I enjoy playing soccer, staying active and a great cup of coffee.

Dr Anthea Tsigaridis (Events Officer)
PGY3 at Austin Health. What I love about intensive care medicine is its high acuity and complexity, as well as the procedural aspect, and the collaborative environment. Outside of medicine, I enjoy long distance running, hiking and spending time with my two dogs ~ Jess and Kiara.

Mr Victor Li (Events Officer)
I'm Victor, a final year medical student at the University of Melbourne, based at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. I have a keen interest in anaesthetics and critical care, and outside of medicine, I like to try and stay active through breakdancing and bouldering! I'm looking forward to contributing to PVACCS as we try to share more opportunities for medical students and junior doctors to explore this specialty.

Hello everyone, I’m a junior doctor at Royal Melbourne with a passion for anaesthetics, pain medicine and critical care. I enjoy teaching, designing, and promoting brands - am excited to bring my experience in these areas to PVACCS. I can often be found in bouldering gyms and in nature if not at work.
